CEU Digital Tech: education and transformation

The real digital transformation of the CEU Group Universities (CEU San Pablo in Madrid, CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia and Elche, and Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona) is one of the primary impulses in the positioning of this educational institution as one of the educational references at an international level.

The strategic alliances with large technology companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, SAS, LG, Blackboard, Logitech, and more reflect its aim to enter strong into the new digital society with the support of the main players of this transformation worldwide; confirming the responsibility to contribute to the education of people who are going to consolidate tomorrow's sustainable digital society.

In the past few months, CEU Universities have technologically ensured a quality education, both online during home confinement and in the double presence format during these past weeks of mobility restrictions. A new way of educating that is having great acceptance among teachers and students (…) as it allows them to maintain the quality and level of education in a safe environment.

CEU Universities also enrich their educational offer through CEU Digital TECH, the recent groundbreaking initiative of CEU Group for technology education that is leading the digital transformation of companies and society overall. This digital approach begins with three programs nourished by strategic alliances with leading international companies:

All three are modular programs that offer the possibility of progressive advancement, as well as the ability to select, by students, the areas that are of their interest (modules, tracks, or a complete program). In addition, they allow access to the internationally recognized certifications granted by these companies.

With these programs, the three CEU Universities take a big qualitative leap towards a learning model that combines online teaching with the development of collaborative projects in the form of challenges with companies, applying an orientation in line with CEU values, which gives birth to the concept: “CEU Tech for Good”.

The newspaper La Razón, within its Tu Economía awards, has given the Award for the Best Digital Initiative in a ceremony held on November 17 at the Palacio de la Bolsa in Madrid, in which the Minister of Economy Nadia Calviño and the Director of La Razón Francisco Marhuenda will be attending.
