2. Creating, designing and producing

The Degree in Experiential and Virtual Communication teaches how to create, design and produce different kinds of technological projects, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, video mapping and e-commerce, among others. Not only is this knowledge theoretical, but students can also learn how to use adequate software to produce them. Overall, it is an all-round degree.

3. Methodology and modality

The teaching model is based on theoretical and customised formation that allows students to bind theoretical knowledge and professional praxis. The degree can either be attended in person or be followed through the online modality.

Our facilities are especially adapted to new technologies, and they have its own experiential research lab.

5. Collaboration agreement

The degree has the support of institutions that focus on technological research, such as Obicex Foundation. This organisation fosters teaching and investigation in all areas of experiential communication.

INTERNSHIPS

In the final year of the degree course, students undertake a mandatory work placement in companies, offices or institutions in their preferred area of practice.

These practical training programmes are included in the study plans, and enable the student to apply and complement the knowledge they have acquired during their academic training, ensuring that they acquire professional competences that will assist them when they enter employment in the future. The group of activities that the student will develop in this programme will be jointly agreed between the company’s tutor and the Work Placement and Employment Service coordinator, who is in charge of the practicum.

The student will also have an academic tutor who will monitor and evaluate the internships to ensure that the students get the maximum use of their time at the organisation.

PLACE RESERVATION

You will be able to do the place reservation at the Abat Oliba CEU University, which guarantees a place in the degree while awaiting approval of the Selectivitat or other access requirements, carrying out the payment of €1,500 which will be discounted from the total price of the course.

PAYMENT METHODS

Once you have made a reservation, the payment of the rest of the registration fee can be carried out in one of the following methods:

Single payment

This method involves a 3% discount on the enrolment fees.

Instalment payment

Of the enrolment fee in four instalments per year.

Monthly payment

10 instalments with special financing at 0% interest with Banc Sabadell (Check opening charges).

Other payment methods

With Banco Santander, "la Caixa", Catalunya Caixa, BBVA and Banc Sabadell. This method also involves a 3% discount on the enrolment fees.

It is also aimed at students who want to redirect their career towards these technological areas provided they have the admission requirements.

OBJECTIVES

  • Empower students with expertise in creating and producing augmented and virtual reality projects.
  • Provide the necessary skills to join the labour market with an approach that best suits their needs and interests.
  • Strengthen specific knowledge that helps students acquire skills to fulfil functional needs as well as aesthetics and techniques that need to be considered when designing experiential and virtual or augmented reality projects.
  • Train students in competences that involve a constant personal improvement, so that they contribute to build up a better society in a skilful and honest way.
