Making Waves in the Asian University Communit

Higher education inclusion and diversity in Asia and the Pacific is a high-priority issue for the APAIE (Asia Pacific Association for International Education), and the APAIE conference in Kuala Lumpur focused precisely on that. Swen Seebach, Head of International Relations at the University, and Fanny Abela, International Coordinator, took part in the event, which saw a record number of 2544 delegates from 58 countries across the world.

The University's International Office team took the opportunity to explore agreement opportunities both for exchanges and research. Their efforts resulted in meetings with more than 20 universities from Asia, Oceania, North and Central America and Europe.

The team also took part in an exclusive meeting, organised by the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia, with the top authorities from the Malaysian higher education system.

The International Office has once again boosted the University's global presence, creating international opportunities for students and faculty, and promoting our university and its courses in the world of higher education.
