Why study at the UAO CEU?

1. Employability

97% of our students find a job after the completion of their studies, that is 11 percentage points above the Catalan universities average (Work placement Survey AQU 2014).

2. Professionals with a global vision

“If you don’t communicate, you don’t exist”. This is the very essence of Advertising and Public Relations studies. It is difficult to find any other industry as wide-ranging as communications; but its proximity and continuous use do not mean that everyone has the competences and skills required to develop it in an efficient and controlled manner.

Creativity, New Technologies and Marketing are the main elements required for the proper development of these communication tools. For this reason, the Abat Oliba CEU University, aware of their importance, bases the studies of Advertising and Public Relations on these pillars, managing to grant the students the access to the main communication agencies in Spain and helping them as well on the launching of their own projects.

In short, the fundamental purpose of this degree is to train professionals and provide them with an overall knowledge of all areas related to Advertising and Corporate Communications, as well as with the ability to lead project development and to adapt efficiently to the constantly changing and fast-moving environment of Communications

3. Methodology

Teaching model based on the practical and individualised training that allows to link the  theoretical knowledge to professional practice, by means of real internships, workshops and practical seminars grounded on these three bases: marketing, creativity and new technologies.

4. Applied knowledge

Our students organise every year the GoliADs UAO CEU Awards gala, which haven become a model for Advertising agencies.

5. Competences program CEU ePlus

The CEU ePlus competence program is incorporated in every degree since the very first year, in order to work on the specific most demanded competences in the labour market for every degree. In addition, the students always have at their disposal the possibility to make an individual coaching procedure.

6. Facilities

The Audiovisual Service of the University comprehends all the facilities, infrastructures, and fixed and mobile equipment necessary for the teaching activity (television studio, sound system studio, photography studio, radio studio, etc.).

7. Internationalisation

We offer the possibility to carry out international stays or internships in the best universities of Europe, America and Oceania.
