*The pathways are offered if at least 10 students are enrolled

2. Training in economic, business and legal issues

The curriculum of the degree in Economics and Management is structured around four main pillars: quality academic training, development of personal and collective skills, internationalisation of the curriculum and professional work placements and entrepreneurship.

4. Entrepreneurship

UAO CEU’s commitment to the entrepreneurial spirit in all its studies is demonstrated by initiatives such as those promoted by the Entrepreneurs’ Club, created by the students themselves. Its activities include the organisation of the BCN Thinking Challenge, an entrepreneurship marathon with participation of students from different universities and specialties and professionals from different sectors who must together solve an entrepreneurship case study with a social objective.

In addition, the University reinforces its commitment to entrepreneurship through various activities:

  • entrepreneurship and management skills workshops
  • family business events
  • economic discussion forum
5. CEU ePlus skills programme

Our teaching model is based on practical, personalised training, linking theory with professional practice, through case studies and real experiences, workshops and practical seminars.

This includes visits to national and international companies and production centres through a programme of work placements.

6. Methodology

The CEU ePlus programme is incorporated into all degrees from the very first year to work on the skills most in demand in the jobs market, customised for each degree. Students also have the chance to take individualised coaching sessions.
