1. Employability and job quality

91.7% of our students find work after finishing their studies. 76.3% is the index of job quality that encompasses all aspects of job satisfaction, three points above average (AQU 2017).

2. Double qualification

Abat Oliba CEU University offers a methodology that allows students to combine two qualifications and gain two degrees in five years. This double degree instills a clear focus on the commercialisation of products and services, and a deep understanding of international business management.

As well as theoretical education, modules have an eminently practical focus. Graduates acquire a 360º vision of marketing and business that prepares them perfectly for a highly professionalised working world. They gain the key knowledge and skills necessary to work in high-responsibility positions in public and private companies. They can work on a national or international scale and will be able to take on any project related to marketing and business management with ease.

Permanent contact with the world of work and excellent teaching staff smooth students' entry into a highly competitive job market.

3. Digital Business Management

A new qualification included in our Business Management and Marketing and Commercial Management degrees to become an expert in the application of big data in the business world and leading digital marketing strategies.

4. Marketing Club

We are pioneers in marketing studies in Catalonia. We have always been at the cutting edge with the Annual Marketing Day organised together with the Barcelona Marketing Club (CMB).

5. International programmes

International Business Certificate Program CEU - Boston University: students have the possibility of studying this programme at Metropolitan College, Boston University, where they receive an international education linked to their studies of the Degree in Business Management.

6. Learn by doing

New teaching methodology inspired by the Learn by doing and Flipped classroom models. The student is at the centre of the teaching method and the classroom, generating professional experience.

Catalan business forum: a place to meet and debate topics from the business sector in Catalonia
University Stock Market Days: organised in conjunction with the Barcelona Stock Exchange
BCN Thinking Challenge: interuniversity hackathon organised by the Entrepreneurs Club
Bloomberg Platform: an integrated platform used by experts from the finance and economics worlds

7. Classroom entrepreneurship programme

UAO CEU focuses on an entrepreneurial spirit in all studies in the business field, through a number of activities, such as:

  • Female entrepreneurs workshop
  • Meetings between family business and entrepreneurship
  • Experiential entrepreneurship days
  • CEU Entrepreneurship Summer Camp

In addition, the Entrepreneurs Club, created by students, promotes other activities, such as the BCN Thinking Challenge, an entrepreneurship marathon with the participation of students from different universities and fields of knowledge, and professionals from different areas, who must solve an "entrepreneurship case" with a social goal.

8. CEU ePlus skills programme

A teaching model based on practical, personalised education that links theory to professional practice through case studies and real experiences, workshops and practical seminars.

It includes visits to national and international companies and production centres through internships.

9. Progressive International Development

A new plan that encourages students to think internationally from their first year to their fourth.

1: Students will get experience interacting and researching online with universities in Germany and the UK.
2: We offer a first international experience with a short visit to one of our associated universities in Europe and offer the chance to attend events like BCN Thinking Challenge.
3: We prepare students for the latest and/or most transcultural challenges in collaboration with two European universities.
4: We broaden horizons through the ERASMUS programme and semesters with our partner universities in Europe and the Americas (New York, Boston, Toronto, Santiago, Dublin, Mexico City and Florida, etc.).

10. Research

Chairs and research groups:

- The Chair on Charitable Economy
- The Chair on Family Business and Business Creation
