Prof. Sasha Molotkova

Prof. Sasha Molotkova is a journalist with 15 years’ experience in live news coverage, field journalism, programme presenting and documentary making. Specialising in political journalism, she has worked for Euronews and has contributed to the BBC, Associated Press, Press TV, Voice of America, Reuters, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, as well as appearing as an analyst on TV3 and RTVE. She has worked from locations such as Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, France, Switzerland and Spain, covering elections, protests in various countries, the Iranian nuclear programme (at the IAEA in Vienna) and UN human rights sessions in Geneva. At the Abat Oliba CEU University, she has been working as a lecturer in the Journalism degree programme for three academic years, teaching courses on correspondence, political journalism and social media strategies.

Currently directs the horse racing website turf-cat.com. Journalism professor since the late 1990s, having taught in several institutions before joining Universitat CEU Abat Oliba.

  • Prof. Montserrat Rigall i Corominas. Journalist specialising in artificial intelligence, an advocate for critical thinking about AI and a doctoral researcher in information verification at the UAB. Currently, she is the head of programming for RNE’s Radio 4 and a university lecturer. She recently received the award for Catalan Communicator of the Year from Lavinia’s Paréntesis Media. She can be heard on RNE’s La Mañana de Radio 4 where she reports on the need for media literacy in AI.
  • Prof. Dr. Héctor Zapata. PhD in Technological Communication from the UAO CEU CEINDO University. Technology Director at the Obicex Foundation, which is dedicated to applying new technologies to education. Architect from the Barcelona School of Architecture. Expert in virtual reality, augmented reality and the metaverse. Founder and director of Tetravol S.L., a company specialising in the development of interactive applications, 3D websites and extended reality applications.

Tuition fees correspond, solely and exclusively, to the provision of teaching as part of the programme enrolled on, and this is the only service offered in exchange for the payment of those fees. By enrolling, the student accepts that decisions made by the competent authorities may, directly or indirectly, render it necessary to carry out teaching, tutoring, work placements or assessment tests either in person or via distance learning.

The student accepts that they remain obliged to pay any such fees in full even if, for reasons beyond the control of the University, some of the educational activities included in the degree cannot be carried out as initially provided for in the course guides at the beginning of the academic year. If restrictions are part in place, the University will provide the student with a guarantee that the activity will be rescheduled when possible, taking into consideration the interests of the student and any other applicable academic criteria.

A one-off payment entitles you to a discount of 3% of the tuition fees.

Payment by instalments

In 3 instalments per year.

Monthly payments

10 instalments with special 0% interest financing with CaixaBank. This also entitles students to a discount of 3% on tuition fees.

Other financing agreements

With Banco Santander, CaixaBank, BBVA and Banc Sabadell. This also entitles students to a discount of 3% on tuition fees.

PERFIL DE INGRESO

Los candidatos al máster universitario en Comunicación Digital y Nuevas Tecnologías deben poseer una titulación universitaria superior española o extranjera equivalente a un bachelor’s degree en el sistema anglosajón.

Este perfil incluye:

  • licenciados y graduados en Periodismo, Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas
  • ingenieros de carreras tecnológicas y de telecomunicación
  • graduados, licenciados y diplomados en otras carreras en las cuales el impacto de las nuevas tecnologías sea esencial
  • colectivos profesionales afectados por el nuevo contexto digital y que precisen reciclarse

Este programa formativo no exige una experiencia previa en el ámbito de la comunicación digital y las nuevas tecnologías.

OBJETIVOS

Las materias que componen el máster universitario en Comunicación Digital y Nuevas Tecnologías responden a la necesidad de habilitar a los estudiantes, de forma integrada y sistematizada, en las técnicas profesionales de aplicación en los ámbitos de la comunicación y el marketing digital.

El objetivo de este programa es que el alumnado consiga una ventaja competitiva en el mercado laboral y desarrolle una experiencia académica innovadora con visión de futuro

La Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, a través de este máster, proporciona una formación de vanguardia relativa a la comunicación digital, así como asegura la capacitación metodológica para la creación de contenidos digitales, el asesoramiento especialista en la materia y la dirección en las áreas de comunicación y marketing digital en cualquier empresa, incluyendo medios de comunicación generalistas con presencia digital.

En este sentido, el programa se desarrolla desde una perspectiva teórica-práctica para dotar a los estudiantes de los recursos y conocimientos multimedia para que puedan abordar los retos que plantea el emergente entorno digital.
